Early June is a fic I write with @gendertrickster about June going back to retcon her own gender, and the consequences that ensue. Featuring a veritable cascade of genderfuckery and gayness, two disparate groups of current and former players race for a do-over, and the chance to set things right.
The Golden Mile is an intermission to the aforementioned fic, featuring a very different Prospitian Battleship crew, with a God-Tiered Davesprite and four formerly-fused trolls getting used to life, each other, and all the second chances they need.

janes epilogue and hs2 writing also sucked so bad because it ignored that about jane with her loneliness. like it COULD have made a commentary on loneliness and falling into pitfalls of radicalization with it but NO. basic ass trump allegory. and not even a fun one she was so generic bad villain it was awful.
The Dolorosa! I find her immensely fascinating. Choosing motherhood, a concept not even known on Alternia, becoming the woman through her kindness birthed a revolution. She has the most tragic and understated end of maybe all the Dancestors. I’d love to know more about her, what her life was like before she found the Signless. She is everything

i talk a lot about how dave’s relationship with his bro probably fucked him up in a lot of ways and rose probably did with dave too. but also what about the reversal afterwards when dave with his newly found awareness of Bad Parent Relationship Things points out weird ideas rose has developed because of her relationship with her mom that she doesn’t realize are weird.
dave: so you dont have any issues with your mom? she was just a completely chill parent?
rose: No. I’ve come to grow and realize that she truly did care for me and was trying to reach out to me, instead of passive-aggressively taunting and belittling me as I had previously thought in my childhood. It was my fault for not seeing the truth, yes, but now that I know better, I-

rose: No offense, but I think I am quite well-equipped to be aware of if I have any underlying “issues” left over from how my mother raised me in my childhood.
